ECKC

The Ecumenical Council of Kerala Christians in the DMV (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) Metropolitan Area

Established in 1991, the Ecumenical Council of Kerala Christians (ECKC) brings together 18 member churches to serve the Kerala Christian community in the Baltimore, Virginia, and Washington D.C. metropolitan area.  The ECKC fosters unity by providing a platform for connection, celebrating their shared Christian heritage, and building lasting friendships and understanding within the community.  This includes organizing joint celebrations of important Christian festivals to strengthen a sense of shared faith and tradition.  Furthermore, the ECKC prioritizes offering help and support to those in need, including the sick, bereaved, and underprivileged.  Their commitment extends beyond their local community through philanthropic endeavors, both in their adopted land and their homeland of Kerala, India to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
